Continuing where our previous posts left off, today we’ll be discussing three more varieties of tea that aren’t as well known to the average tea drinker.
Mugicha (Roasted Barley Tea)
Roasted Barley Tea is known for its refreshing qualities that can cool the body and quench the thirst. It can also lower body heat, reduce swelling, and soothe a sore throat. Daily consumption will also reduce the grease in your bloodstream and aid in digestion. Due to its powerful character, however, it is advised that tea lovers drink this tea after meals, rather than on an empty stomach.
Lemon Tea
Lemon tea can benefit your digestion and help to maintain a youthful complexion. Besides its delicious citrusy taste, it also contains a plentiful dose of vitamin C, which has a multitude of benefits, including a reduced risk of cancer. Lemon tea is best enjoyed daily after meals.
Black Tea
The incredibly popular black tea has a large amount of antioxidants, and can therefore help to detox your body and keep you pleasantly warm. Because of its warm character, people who feel chronically overheated or who are suffering from fevers should be cautious when drinking black tea. When it’s cold outside, though, black tea has the extraordinary ability to keep you feeling warm and cozy.
