Class Description
Join Pu-erh expert Jeffrey McIntosh as he shares his personal experience in the tea industry visiting multiple tea mountains and tea growing regions over the last 10 years.
Dive into the world of Pu-erh tea, this often-misunderstood variety of dark tea exclusively grown in Yunnan Province, China. Uncover what makes Pu-erh such a deeply fascinating experience by exploring the differences between raw and ripe variations, proper brewing and storage, fermentation, health benefits, and tasting characterstics. Come learn about and taste some of the cleanest Pu-erh teas on earth and walk away feeling confident in your newfound knowledge. The class includes a tasting of two of Denong’s most popular teas: 2017 Mountain Oasis Raw Pu-erh and 2016 Denong Commemorative Ripe Pu-erh.
